Im Falle eines Sturzes bietet die SAFEFIT-Airbag-Weste dank ihrer ultraschnellen Auslösung vor dem Aufprall einen Schutz der lebenswichtigen Körperbereiche (Hals, Halswirbel, Thorax, Rücken, Brustkorb, Lendenbereich, Becken und Kreuzbein).
Der/die Reiter/in muss stets einen Reithelm tragen, auch wenn er/sie mit einer Airbag-Schutzweste oder anderer Schutzausrüstung ausgestattet ist.
